I came across a quote today that got me thinking.
"Someone, somewhere, is depending on you, to do what God has called you to do!"
How often have I heard God tell me to do something, but for whatever reason I have decided not to do it straight away. I have decided to wait a bit and to seek confirmation that it is from God before I actually do anything. It might be something as simple as sending a word of encouragement to someone, picking up the phone and seeing how someone is, giving some cash away to someone we know is struggling financially.
God has given us common sense, yet we too often ignore it! If we are walking with Him daily, reading our Bibles and spending time in prayer, surely He expects us to make good, sound judgement calls. If you know someone is in need, whether physically, emotionally, spiritually or mentally and you have the means or ability to provide help and support, we shouldn't need to spend 48 hours in prayer and fasting, we should instinctively be a Good Samaritan and do all that we can to help!
So, who is waiting on you today to be a Good Samaritan?
